Thanks Tom, I had read that yesterday; it is very informative. All beginners should read that to understand the morphs and genetics of bearded dragons! :study:

Also, just to point out, that tiger striping is not something a animal can be het for as it is just part of the coloring not a true "morph"

there are different types of leather backs... american smoothies typically or italian leatherbacks

italian leatherbacks are codominant morphs

they produce visual offspring with no hets

if the dragon does not show leather it is not het for leather

that only works with recessive gentics such as trans and hypos which are carried over in non visual hets

no such thing as het for leather sorry

if one dragon is leather and the other is not you will get a couple with reduced scales typically and then some leathers and some non leathers they are not het for leather

hope that explains it better

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
