Okay, so if I leave Rocky in his enclosure and he turns black and is totally stressed out...he will eventually calm down.
What I do is call him name a few times through the cam-
Scream, "Stop it" (not too loudly)
I'm totally ignored
Rocky will glass surf
this last for 5 minutes (34343 minutes in beardie time)
I say, "sit down!"
Rocky goes to his basking area
Rocky curses me out (nonverbally of course)
We do this for hours
But, he's in his enclosure
1 win for hooman
Did I mention that he will force himself to poop in unique areas? Look me in the eye, put his hand up on a ledge or something then poop on the side of his hide. Literally, on the side of his hide. Rocky has pooped on the floor, same spot by the entry since I had him.

Pooping definitely gets him out while I clean...but not this time.
