Do you have any local stores in your area/breeders/etc? You could talk to a business that deals with beardies and see if they are interested in setting up some sort of deal. If there a good breeder they would prolly require a fecal test though to make sure it is negative. Just an idea...He is very pretty and I love his eyes!

Yeah, I read the same thing where bloodbank said that blue eyes weren't natural, and instead were a disease/genetic defect. Well, how can they know that for sure unless they've somehow unlocked the secrets of the bearded dragon genome or bred all the blue-eyed dragons in the world. Blue eyes could be a spontaneous breedable mutation.

Come to think of it, I have several local non-chain pet stores. One of which doubles as a fairly popular Bearded Dragon breeder in my area. I'll look into it :)
And if anyone sees this and is in the area, let me know!

Bloodbankdragons had me quite confused by that blog!
When I was first searching for dragons and discovering all the different morphs and colors, I contacted a few reputable breeders. I asked Bloodbankdragons about blue eyes on the phone (before I knew the rarity and controversy over them) and they told me that I wouldn't find one and I wouldn't want one because it was some kind of defect. I also asked them about 'reds' because I didn't understand why orange colored Beardies were considered red. They said that ultimately the reds they had which I considered orange were as good as it gets and I won't find any dark colored reds. However, this was several months ago. Since then I have seen them blog about my favorite breeder who had produced blue eyes and I have seen countless dark red colored Beardies. I really do appreciate the time they put into marketing their Beardies and the quality they have produced. They are also within my state so I suppose that's a plus!

WOw that is BEAUTIFUL Ashley!! Yea Blue eyes are pretty rare. I do research constantly about beardys & its hard to find them, there is one breeder at the moment thats trying to specialize in it, & has a few, but other then him, theres prob only hand full of them around. So you my friend, are holding a possible gold mine :) lmaooo. All you need to is say blue eyes & its rare & BAM dragon breeders out the butt-ox lmao.
My Pastel dragon who is only about 4months old, I would be interested in breeding with you, Heck the new one I just got which I just posted the pics for you on my post I would also but thats a bit of time you would have to wait, & I live in Connecticut sooooo yea that be hard ahaha.

Thank you very much! I would say Jasper appreciates it... But I'm pretty sure he knows he's good looking 8) haha

I just saw your new Beardie! Beautiful color :)
Breeding Jasper would be so awesome but Connecticut is a little bit far to go
All your Beardies are lovely!!!

He's so beautiful!!
I think if you were to find a female with blue eyes, the chances of their offspring inheriting the gene would increase.

Good luck :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
