He's finally eating and feeling more at home!

I'm so happy! my baby's finally getting an appetite and seems to be getting more comfortable at home. I was getting really worried because he'd eat maybe 4-5 roaches a day. and rarely a phoenix worm. Now before i go to work i'll put about 20 roaches and 20 phoenix worms (the super small ones) in his tank and most are gone by the time i get home. The other day i had put some PW's in his tank and walked away. i happened to pop my head around the corner when i saw him jump off his branch and start gobbling them up. he stopped when he realized he was being watched. lol i don't think he likes an audience. And he's not as dark all of the time like he was. He has occasionally hissed at my fiance or me, but he was starting to shed on his leg so i left him be. i walked across the room, saw the big piece of skin fall off and then he was all up on the glass like, "Come back, i'm sorry, i'll let you hold me now" lol

anyway, just wanted to share my enthusiasm! Huego is now 4 1/2 mo old and been w/ me 1 mo now. i need to buy a scale and measure his length to make sure he's growing though!

Thanks everyone! I am proud of him... and not to toot my own horn, but myself. He's my first reptile, and i'm not one to really enjoy hanging out w/ insects like cockroaches, but i think i'm doing ok so far! LOL he seems to be growing and getting more interested in me, and what i'm doing. I think my dogs are starting to feel a little left out now! lol

I think that's how we all were at first. I would have never thought about keeping live crickets and worms in my room or bathing a lizard in my own bathtub, but you get used to it

Its so easy to over think things when we get our new pooper home. Sometime we probably cause half thier stress just by fretting over them.
