Oops, I not only forgot to update my thread this weekend, but I also forgot my cord for downloading my pictures to my computer. Bad Me!
I has been over a week now with giving #4 a bath every day, except on Saturday (there is an interesting story there). With handling every day, fresh food and a warm bath, you would think my dragons lived in a 5 star resort. If only I got treatment like that! I guess I should move away from using #4 on the forums since I decided on a name, but I figured I could play a little guessing game with people that checked out my thread!
Today’s hint: #4 is named after a main character's nickname in a move released in the 80's.
As the days go on, I’ll start adding more specific hints to help everyone out! I'm just nice like that.
So some fun stories before I do some pictures:
I have been giving #4 a bath every day except last Saturday because the timing just didn’t work out when I was out and about with some friends of mine. Thinking that #4 wouldn’t mind skipping one day, I let is slide. #4 on the other hand thought otherwise. I have this nice fleece blanket in his Viv now that is settled on the ground near his basking area. #4 has taken to using this spot whenever he isn’t basking and seems quite content to nap away the day in that particular spot. While I was off doing laundry Sunday morning, #4 decided to show me his displeasure and soiled the nice fleece blanket right when I finished the laundry for the day.
So for the time being, he now sits on a nice stuffed fleece pillow until I do my laundry next Sunday...
Sammy is getting pretty big as of late and smarter. When I gave him a bath on Sunday evening, he was happily enjoying the warm water and was content with sitting around for a bit, followed by some lazy one or two arm swimming and resting some more. This was a nice change of pace from Sammy scrambling to get out of the bath from the get go, so I was pleased. After 15 minute, when his bath time was up, I picked him up and placed him on the towel on my lap to dry off. Sammy took one look at me and jumped back in the bath, followed by immediately going potty, as if to say "I wasn't done yet!"
I guess he knows better than I when he is ready...
OK, last story, I promise.
#4 was exploring this evening after his bath and manage to get into a very interesting position on top of a box with some cords and other things on top. He wasn't particularly happy with being up there and didn’t manage to spot an easy way down. I ask if he wanted assistance and he stared at me for a moment. I took that as a yes and moved my hand over to him. With out hesitation, he jumped squarely in my hand and was content to stay. I was so excited!!! I guess he has finally warmed up to me, either that or he figured I was a good stepping stool.
Finally, pictures.
All clear under the couch.
Happy blanket
It wasn't me
My tree is so comfy
Skin... So... itchy...
Sammy was not a happy camper in the above picture. Though I'm happy to report that he made it through his shed with wonderful colors!
Happy tree hug
I'm holding the tree down, it might just walk away.
Slave, my pillow needs fluffing.
That’s all the pictures for now. #4 gives a big shout out to all his brothers, sisters and parents out there!
