Help!

Yes his tank is more than bright enough but he seems to go under his log where its dark and hes sleeping a lot. He at like 5 or 6 crickets yesterday and then started bobbing his head at the glass cause he wanted out. Once he was out he was running around playing like normal. Idk I guess I'm confused cause a day or two a week hes fine and energetic but then the rest he is grumpy and in a slump. Sound like brumation? I got a fecal sample this morning that I was going to try to bring in to a vet once I'm done with class at 2:30.

Yes, it does sound like brumation, or he is trying to brumate. Great that you got a fecal done, let me know how it turns out. Good luck with that.
Sometimes, when they brumate, it is not a full brumation more like a semi brumation. They will go in & out according to the weather patterns. It can be quite frustrating at times!

Well He was having fun last night and fell asleep by the fan of my computer so I put a tiny towel over him and just let him sleep in my room. His colors were very bright when I woke him up this morning to go back into his cage! I have the fecal sample in a ziplock bag in my car haha as I'm awaiting getting out of class. How long does it normally take once I get the sample in... once I find a close reptilian vet. Well I'm hoping he doing better because right before he started this fiasco I bought a hundred crickets and half of them have eaten eachother...even with plenty of food in their cage haha

After doing some reading I think he is just Brumating. Everytime hes out of his cage he tries to burrow underthings and loves to sleep all day long. You were right I think it's just a partial brumation. Thanks! Makes me feel at ease!

That is great he is looking so good though, his colors are bright. He is just trying to be a lazy little dragon! Always trying to find something to hide under & catch some sleep.
Let me know how the fecal turns out.
Are the crickets too crowded? If so, they will eat each other. Make sure that you have dry food in there for them, also.

What kind of food are we talking about here cause I have orange cube(cricket food) and bearded dragon and some veggies but they still seem to eat eachother. Plus I get no more than a hundred at a time in 15 gallon tnk

Hello,

The cricket jel food is just for fluid. They need dry food such as cricket gutload that you can get at most petstores. You are using bearded dragon pellets for them?
Do they have things to climb on like paper egg crates?
