help with dubia roachs

I noticedd one of my female dubia roaches has like this red thing coming out of her butt!? Can anyone help me and tell me what tht is?

First she lays the eggs, so she pushes the egg sac out of her body, lays the eggs in it, and pulls it back in. Then, after 28 days, she pushes it back out again and the babies "hatch."

Sometimes females will drop/abandon their egg sacs when temps/humidity aren't right or if she's scared or bothered a lot while she's trying to lay her eggs in it.

Yeah, it's useless now. She'll have to mate again and make a new one.

I'm not sure how long until she would produce another egg sack, actually. Probably within a day, and then it takes 28 days from the time she lays the eggs until she gives birth.

You're welcome. Just avoid taking the lid off the tub any more than necessary, and try not to move things around in the tub. That should keep them from getting scared and dropping egg sacs.
