I have a baby bearded dragon and we normally feed small Dubia roaches but the last time we went to the pet store they only had medium so we grabbed them. Many have became larger and some are smaller but hard to find under the larger ones. They are very slightly bigger than the space between his eyes but the store has not got any small roaches in yet and they only feet that and mealworms which he doesn’t eat. I’ve feed him some of the bigger ones but sometimes it seems he has a lump in his throat, I massage it and it ends up fine but is their anything else I could do? He doesn’t eat it if it’s not moving so killing it and cutting it up isn’t an option

Please feed only size appropriate please go to this website and order www.dubiaroaches.com -- pet stores are expensive and unreliable

Maybe try cutting the bottom half of a dubia off, they can still move the other half with the head and a couple of legs

They don't need a ton of space. If you have a plastic bin the size of a shoebox you can keep them in there with some empty toilet paper tubes or cardboard egg crate pieces for them to hide in. Put some mesh over the top or drill lots of small holes in a plastic top to add ventilation. Feed them veg scraps from the kitchen (greens stems, carrot ends, celery ends, etc) They are pretty hardy and should just go about their business with minimal intervention needed.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
