I have a 120 gallon tank for my beardies, I use newspaper for my substance and it smells really bad. I use to have sand but i replaced it, the bottom of the enclosure has a little sand though. Please HELP
what are you cleaning it with? and how often? you should be replacing the substrate daily, or at least the soiled portions. and disinfecting once a week or so.
how many beardies do you have in the tank? i know its suggested that you dont house them together, as they aren't really social animals.
I clean it with this reptile cleaner that blocks odor ( But there is still smell) I clean weekly but i clean the soiled portions every other day. Two beardies that get along very well.
Like babysmomma said you should sanitize at least once a week, also I would get the left over sand out that would hold the smell and also bacteria. I use a tile substrate alot easier to clean. One of my beardies would poop and lay in it so he would smell, try bathing
him a couple times a week, hope this helps.
Im needing some questions answered about my female beardeddragon, I honestly have no idea on age , she was a recuse, as ive had a couple in my life an have experience. I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
