Help me get the bulb out of the fixture please?

This may be the dumbest question posted here ever, sorry!

It's time for a new Reptisun 10.0 bulb. But I can't get the old one out of the fixture! I no longer have the instructions to it. Obviously pulling it out doesn't work. Can someone tell me how to get it out? Thanks.

The slots are usually at an angle so you need to twist the bulb before it will slide out

My fixture requires the bulb rotated about 90degrees before it will drop out. There is a "catch" or stiff spot where it locks into the install position - sometimes it feels like it won't turn.
