Okay, so I have three beardies. Two of them are generally all around healthy and simple to care for. One is not, and has never been.

My one that has ALWAYS been difficult is Olive. I love her to death, but I've been upset and confused for so long over why she acts how she does, as I do anything I can to make her life as stress free as is possible!

Recently (last 2 weeks) she's decided she now hates food and won't eat. The last five days or so she has refused to eat all together besides occasional nibbles at her salad (before stomping on it and throwing it everywhere). I feed my beardies dubia roaches which she used to love but obviously now refuses. If she eats even one then it's a miracle, when a month ago she would gladly gobble up 4+ no problem. She also won't stop running around everywhere and scratching to get out. She's also been pooping every day tiny little poops (until when today she ran out of food to poop and only pooped a urate-which I was expecting to happen soon).

She's in a 4'x2' tank that has black plastic sides on every side besides the front where there's sliding glass doors, so it isn't her reflection. I HAD a 100 watt bulb but realized the temps might be too high (basking was about 95ish and cool was 85ish), so I changed it to a 50 watt bulb. The new heat lamp keeps her basking spot at exactly 91.5 and the cool side at exactly 81.5 (spot thermometer used obviously). Temps seem fine. She has a few month old uvb light, and it isn't time to change yet (I change every 6 months and will be before too long) and it's as long as her 4' tank so she gets plenty. All food is dusted with calcium plus D3 or vitamin supplements. She doesn't see my other beardies as their tanks are stacked on top of each other.

I don't know what's wrong. In addition, she's always in a "bad mood" and gets stressed/angry/generally upset when I wake her up in the morning or later at night when she wants to sleep again and turns EXTREMELY dark, then after an hour the running around starts. Sometimes she has stress marks on her belly, sometimes not. Depends on how she feels that day. It's like she wants out so badly, then when she gets out she just tries to find a dark place to sleep and still won't eat. I feel like if she could she would just sleep her entire life away.

She IS still positive for pin worms, although I treated two of my beardies for pin worms for almost a year and my herp vet and I agreed it was doing more harm than good. Now she and my one other get dewormed once every 3 months since their numbers were so low but never eliminated and I keep both of their tanks immaculately clean. Paper towel substrate, cardboard box basking spot, new paper plates every day for salad, immediate poop removal (since she goes at the same time every day), etc. Also, after she poops the running around doesn't get better, nor does she eat.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with her or her environment?? Any help appreciated.

Ps she has been in this tank for 2-3 months and was fine until recently. She likes seeing out a window and can't anymore and I know she misses it, but could that be the problem if she hasn't had it 2-3 months? She used to get dark all the time all day long over missing her window but would still eat, but now won't eat and runs around instead and is generally less dark colored.

I agree that she may have eggs to lay. They can develop infertile eggs with no male around. Best to set up a lay box ASAP, better safe than sorry since they can become very stressed and possibly eggbound if they don't have a what they consider a good place to lay their eggs.

I don't think that's it, my other beardie Pickle has been gravid now twice in the past few months so I'd think I'd be able to feel the eggs in Olive, both times with Pickle that's how I figured out she was (she eats like I starve her and never moves around much at all, but I know she's the exception in terms of gravid behavior, she also has never laid her eggs in a dig box both times and ate them right after she laid them-I've never seen them, only felt them one day then not the next day, but that's besides the point). Either way I'm going to try with a dig box for Olive and see if she is gravid possibly, I don't know what else it could be. Thank you!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
