Help! bearded dragon black beard!

My bearded dragon has a all black beard, his tail is up, and we have paper towl down, for now. and, hes on the cool side! im afraid hes stuck, hes on his stick, should i try to move him?

Well, if you think he's stuck, you can't leave him like that.

well, i moved him, i know hes not stuck now, but, i cant get him to leave the stick,

Is he basking? Why do you need him to leave the stick? :?

well, i got scared, i didnt know what the black beard ment, i thought he looking skinnier, (i think) we give him 30 crickets mondays and fridays, and, he dont seem to like his collard greens to much.

and, i thought he was stuck,

and no, his basking lamp was off, sence its night time. his stick is on his cool side,

How old is he?

Guess he just wanted to sleep on his log on the cool side tonight.

hes 13 or 14 months, hes not that big, the petstore said give him 30 crickets on monday and fridays and greens inbetween, which he dosent seem to eat much of.

You really don't have to feed him that many on those 2 days a wk, could actually give about 8 each day instead if that worked better for you, then he'd be getting some daily. yes, i read that before, i picked collards, and mustards for everyday,
But, now we picked just collards, and, he seems to go after the dish like hes starving for greens, then he only takes like a few bites,

my dragon isn't much older and he eats 10 (small) crickets twice a day plus his greens. listening to someone from a pet store is not always the best advice :study:
