fecal came back normal and my 2 clutches did great 100% success rate..as far as breeding a rescue this is my first time breeding so im not going to go out and buy an expensive animals if i dont even know i can do it or want to do it.....iv already heard it so no need to say it again so get off the "dont breed rescues" and look for the real issues i dont already know about!!

Calm down. That person was just reiterating what had been said before...

What was wrong that the others were dying?

pretty sure it might have been just to much stress durring incubation, it was my first clutch and they had a bit of mold and the humidity was to high and i think water was dropping from the top. i solved both those problems and found a method that works for me, so far all the babys made it out 100% on there own with no problems at all and there doing great.

Did you put holes in the containers they were in while in the incubator? One of my buddies forgot to do that on his first batch and they turned infertile. Too much water though could have also done it.

yes, the first one had holes in the side. the new one has holes on the top and i have a "dipper" i use a shamwow or muslin cloth and put it on the inside of the top so it doesnt drip i change it about every 3 weeks and it works realy good

If you search in google the right vermiculite to water ratio then you shouldn't get too many drops on the top. I get some small ones every once in awhile but I just wipe them off and maybe a month later they will come back, the towels might absorb too much water. But if its working then I guess it's fine. But under the egg could start to mold because of too much water.

and i have had no mold at all, when i moisten the egg lay medium or the peralite i use water with a tiny bit of apple cider vinigar to inhibit the mold

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
