Hi everyone,
I jumped right passed this section in my first post, but wanted to step backwards and introduce myself to everyone. My family includes myself (28) my husband (30) and our two kids (9,3) and our animals Apollo, our staffie, 4, a 75 gal freshwater fishtank, and our newest addition, Bandit (dragon). We live on Long Island, NY. So how did we decided on getting a new addition? My son has been on our case about getting his own pet, but he has many allergies and so anything small with hair was out of the question. we are already pushing it with the dog. so after much research and debate, we decided on a bearded dragon. We got him from a breeder with a small time shop about 10 mins from my house. We brought him home Sunday. Of course, I jumped right on here with my concerns as a new mommy. So far, I LOVE THIS SITE!!! you all have been nothing but helpful and i find myself checking in at least once a day. I know beardies are fastly becoming quite popular, but even so i felt sorta alone in my quest for the best possible life for "bandit" Now i know im not alone and help is here anytime i need it!
