hello there! please help!!

Hi there... apologese if this in wrong section but am a first time poster..
anyway...
My little godzilla for about 5 -6 weeks just constantly wants to spend all her time at the cool end under her log as if shes going into brumation? but not at this time of year surely?
shes barely eaten! ( although to be fair i cant notice anyway weight loss!)

shes showing classic signs of being too hot. but i have a 40w bulb in there and the temp at her hot end is showing at around 90-100f
literally everyday i get home from wor shell be under her log.. ill get her out and put her at the hot end where maybe shell last 3 hours then go back, showing no interst in food.
she actuallylooks kinda ok and bright when i pick her up and place her. im just at a total loss.
shelast popoed about 2 weeks ago so thats within this time of her going funny so shes not impacted.

She as a arcadia 10% uvb tube with a ardadia reflector .
please! any advice is so appreciated.. im at a total loss!

Hi Sam, can you post pics of her [ full body shots ] as well as her tank ? The temp. is not too hot if you're sure that's correct ] and surely a 40 watt wouldn't be causing it to be hot. Anything new in the tank ? Have you had a fecal test done to rule out parasites ? Probably not the cause , but it's still something to consider. How old is she ? Some beardies may go in to early brumation or at least a slow down phase, it's not unusual and not harmful at all for a beardie with good weight.

hope this works? the temp is what was showing at her basiking end when i walked in at 6pm this evening. and found her as usual under her log. i have now placed her under her heat lamp .. which i do every evening when i gethomeand find her under log!
could it really be brumation in the summer? remeber imfrom britain and its the middle of our summer here! although temperatures outside are only 20 c really!

Hi. Those thermometers are very inaccurate. You want a temp gun or a digital with a wire probe and they need to be taken on the basking spot.

ok.. also the reason i dont think shes over heating is her bulb actually blewthe other day so i tried her for the afternoon with no heat bulb and still she went under her log!
i really am lost on this one!

How old is the uv tube, I know the t5 12% version is supposed to be good for 12 months I'm not sure if the t8 version lasts the same or if it's 6 months like others.
