Thank you kindly for the warm welcome :love5: Sorry about my delay in responding to this thread. It's been a hectic day and lousy net signal.

How we ended up with Kadaj:
I was told by the Petsmart lady named Cammy he is about 3 months old. Luckily for us, she has beardies of her own at home so she took the best care of him and that is why he is in stellar health. She was also a lifesaver when helping us buy the right stuff with good prices and referred us to this site. We got him this past Saturday. We had seen him a week before(and fell in love) that but made sure we done plenty of research before coming back to get him. He was on hold in the back room for someone who never showed up and that's how we got him. So lucky someone got cold feet!

Here are the pics as promised. I heard there are different types of beardies. I do not know which one he is. Maybe someone could tell which type? A note on color: What appears to be brown is darker green. When he is happy, he turns bright yellow or greenish yellow. On each side of his spine and a line going around his belly is bright orange when he turns yellow. It appears to be burned orange when he goes darker(showing up as brown). The camera just does not do justice. Now his tail is white with brown stripes and black marks going down the middle.I find his coloring odd because the beardies I seen in the past were white or mottled grey/brown. Also kindly excuse the clutter. I was digging through a trunk looking for my late iggy's stuff from yrs ago.

What a beautiful dragon! Gonna be awesome watching him grow up!

Aww! Kadaj is beautiful! He does have the same coloring as Ember. On her sides is almost lime green. I can't wait to see how their colors change as they grow!
