heating question asap

hey everyone i got a quick question about th eheating of a beardies cage ive never shut the heat light off but in about 4-5 sites ive checked it says at night im supposed to :S? need some advice from people that have beardies please and ty

Yes...you should turn the heat lamp and UVB off at night.
Your beardie should be getting 12-14 hrs of both heat and UVB a day.

so its ok for the temp to be at 60 when i shut it off?

Yes, but don't let it go below 60.
If you need heat at night you might want to get a ceramic heat emitter, which doesn't produce light just heat.
