Heat problem??

Hi,
Am wondering how long it should take for your temps in ur viv to get to required temps??
In my viv my heat buld goes on at 7.18am in morning, It takes about 2 - 3 hours to get to required temps.

For example its been on since 7.18am and my basking is 95f and cool end 72f. Got 2 probe thermometers in viv. 1 in cool end and 1 in basking spot/heat end.

My viv is 48" long/ 19" width / 20" high.
Am using 100w basking buld - exo terra sun glo
UVB buld - arcadia d3 12%

Ave got my probe for my thermostat nearer the hot end. Should a move it? When the temps get to requried temp his basking spot is 107f / cool end 83f

It all depends what the ambient temp is in the room the viv is in. Usually it will take about an hour. Also how many vents are on the viv? I would try to take the hot side to about 103-105 and cool side 77-80. The probes can stay where they are. Hope this helps.
