Couldn't really say for sure, since all beardies are different and it would depend on how the dragon is fed etc. But for reference, my guy is 18.5" and weighs 345g

Ok thanks :) I know all beardies are different, but there has to be some type of weight range that denotes what a healthy beardie should be in the range of. Chuck was 368g the other day when I checked him out but I expect him to be putting on more weight now that he's eating regularly. Thanks for the info, was trying to find a good base point for him.

all beardies are different. it just depends on their body type just liek people. some people are fat, and some are skinny. some are tall, others are short. same goes for a lot of animals and beardies are a good example. I have 4 beardies right now and they range from 16" and 315g to 19" 455g. But then i have one huge female that is close to 18" and 520g. So it just depends on their body type. From my experience, as long as they have their fat deposits built up which is best seen when the area around their tail is built up and not sunken in with divits or bumps to where you can see their hips, then they should be at a healthy weight. hope that helps!

That's something we need to work on then. When we got him, there were divots plainly visible at the hip section. The way he's starting to eat now though, he should be fattening up real quick I hope. He's doing 6-8 supers every other day as well as his salads every day.

Salads are great for him to eat, but won't really fatten him up. And when I say divots, I've seen sick beardies at pet shops around my place that look like the kids you see over in africa. If there are tiny bumps where hips would be thats not a big deal, but when they are sunken in is when its a problem. Supers will fatten him up real quick and 6-8 every other day is not a lot but if he is just starting ot eat more and more then just keep making sure he is full. You could also try some wax worms which are high in fat but as a treat once or twice a week max for now to add on some weight. Also, hornworms are great for them and my dragons will crush as many of them as I let them so I usually limit 1 a day when I get them for them but you could also try to add those into his diet to put some weight on. Keep me updated on how he continues to eat and if you try different foods. Pics would be great too if you have them. :D

yah give him some time then. He is still pretty young and has grown a bunch and his weight just can't keep up with his body growth to get him chubbier. As he settles down more over the next fe months he should put on the weight. He does look a little skinnier than I like my dragons but his colors are very nice and if you had a problem like internal parasites or something that was causing his weight issue he would not be that bright. Keep me updated on his progress but so far as long as he keep continuing his increased appetite and weight gain, you should be fine. I would def try a treat of either horns or wax worms a few times a week if you want him to gain the weight but don't spoil him on those because then that is all he may want to eat. lol

Chuck is 10months old this month according to the person I got him from and is now 21". We weighed him also this morning, again, and he is now 402g. He is really adding weight now that he's starting to eat 2 salads a day and eating his supers every other 3rd day. So he has more or less put on 40grams in the last week.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
