So my bearded dragon has been 12 in long for a good long while, well, this week he shot up to 13 1/2 inches and is keeps growing. Since this happened he looks like he's always skinny (20-50 crickets a day are being fed) and it's been 3 days since his last poop. >_< My question is is this normal? And how can I get him to err... poo for me.

Well first off, are you only letting him eat that much, or are you offering him as much as he can eat in a 10-15 minute time span?

No its not normal for a growing dragon to go without pooping. They should be pooing everyday with how much they should be eating.

What substrate are you housing on?
Do you dust the crickets?
Do you offer salad?
Are you offering any other feeder insect?
Do you give baths?
What are your temps? And what are you using to measure them?
And what uvb bulb do you use?

If you could fill out those questions, it would greatly help.

How soon is soon on the reptisun?

Everything else seems OK in your setup besides that.

How often do you bath, and when was the last time you did?

A week or two, I'm a kid so ordering stuff online is kinda hard :(
Just bathed him today to try and get that shed skin off
I just picked him up out of his cage and he pooped on me. LOL

Well its good that he pooped.

Oh..... you didn't mention he was shedding lol. When dragons shed they get slightly stressed and it can lead to decreased appetite and irregular poo's.
Not your fault though, should have asked lol.

Don't try to peel off the shed yourself, this can hurt the dragon very bad. Just let mother nature do its work. Baths are good though, it helps loosen the skin, but just never try to pull if off yourself.

The sooner you get the reptisun the better. The Exo terra doesn't produce enough uvb which doesn't allow the dragon to use the calcium. This can lead to MBD which is irreversible. If you can, I would take him outside for a bit each day.
