Tell me about it!! Over 12 inches already. And still chowing down.

I have to leave him for the next 3 days and I'm so anxious. I live in FL and going to Memphis to see my step kids. Will be gone all day Thursday Fri and Sat, but my dad is coming over Thursday evening for cleaning and feeding. Then at least once on Fri and sat, but hopefully twice a day for Fri and Sat.

I have his salads and bugs all set up. I'm so thankful for my parents coming over to help out. But it is my first time away from Hades and no late night snuggles. :-(

I'm sure he will be fine. But I'm gonna miss him.

Thanks you! He is handsome. And yes he is eating so much. I had to look up overfeeding, just to make sure I wasn't overfeeding him. He ate 80 sm crickets the other day for one meal. I prefer to give him roaches and I was for the most part but I have to buy discoids because I live in FL. and they are hard to find right now. I was able to get a 100 mixed and I'm gonna give them some time to breed.

I'm thinking I might soon be able to get the adult crickets. Do you think he is big enough for those yet? (I know the space between the eyes rule, and I think it would be pretty close).

Well, Hades had his vet visit. Vet said he looks like the poster beardie of healthy. did a fecal test and all was well. So no parasites to treat which I am happy about. And thought I'd share some updated pics.

December in Florida. it's going to be a warm xmas here, I think hottest on record. Hades doesn't seem to mind.

He looks quite happy. I was glad to hear that his black beard went away and he's OK. I know how scary it is when they do things like that.

Hades looks a lot like my baby beardie iggy, when he was younger of course, love the pics. They gave me a good idea of what Iggy will look like later in life
