i have a 14,000 sq ft house,6 baths.I do not know if that is a mansion or not.1 indoor pool though.

Dude please stop with the
1 useless and pointless drivel
2 with the lies

Now as to your dragon
Runny and smelly feces tends to be a sign of a fairly severe parasitic infection. You need to find a vet (oh wait you may have one on your house staff lmao) and have a fecal exam run and medicate accordingly.

good luck.

Nice coment  Heres a 14,000 square foot house..... so not a mansion....http://spring-hill.adsestate.com/houses/for-sale/11110.html

Potty training seems to be possible to a very small degree on paper towels or a pooping rock)
ours flat out refuses to poop in her house.....she gets antsy then we take her to the bath and then the poop comes out....makes for zero cleanup

I've been GM of a construction company for 20 years and we have built several "mansions" up to 20,000 SF. (http://www.pillicustomhomes.com/)
FWIW, six full baths and a couple powder rooms is about average for a 14,000+ sf shack. Most of the time, kids rooms are like a small suite, with a vestibule leading into the BR, a walk-in closet and dedicated bath.

Anyway, I find it very difficult to believe the owner of one of these homes is:
A) Keeping a BD at all (vs pedigreed dogs, horses or birds or even a BD like this: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=184029), and
B) not knowing poop stinks, and
C) doing the cleanup themselves - most folks in this bracket don't even wipe the kitchen counter....

:?

I have an adult male BD that tries his best not to poop in his viv. If I'm around, I'll notice him pacing the glass and I'll put him in over in a 40 breeder I have set up as a feeding area. He'll go in there, I put him right back in his own quarters and can just roll up the paper and toss it.

The younger one seems to go in the same spot in his viv pretty reliably, and I have draped a paper towel across the rocks where he likes to go, which catches quite a bit of it and speeds cleanup.

I keep both dragons on newspaper, which is cheap and easy, but I have to move furnishings around to replace the floor so I try to do what I can to control the mess.

If I'm going to be away from the house for more than 24 hours, I'll bathe them both just before leaving, which normally stimulates a bowel movement and they don't have to go again until I get back.

Thank you everyone for the great belly laugh first thing on a Weds morning! I just LOVE all the comments!

I'm thinking (we've see those commercials) that there's some BURLY unclothed man sitting at his desktop computer, ok maybe in his tighty whities, typing away some stories!

Gotta admit while he is WAY OUT THERE with his tails/tales, they are rather entertaining when it comes to the replies we can come up with!

Maytes all living creature go poop and regardless of whether there are parasites present or not Poop Stinks!
All beardies should be tested for parasites whether their poops are extremely potent or not. Period!

Why is there all this gibbish about a mansion? What doesn't this have to do with gross poop?
Other than if your house is that big an you can smell the poop in the entire house then you most likely have a parasite issue...especially if you only have the one beardie.

I live in a small 2 bedroom farmhouse with at present 10 resident beardies and 18 poopers. My house doesn't stink like beardie poop unless it's right after feeding time for babies and before I clean the viv the first time of the day. As for the larger beardies the bath is the best way to not have to worry about cleaning of viv and smell. The papertowel thing works too for some....Zak-n-Wheezie are actually trained to poop on a paper towel if I can't get their bath before they are ready to go.
Only a couple of my beardies will even go in their viv's...which is fine with me. Then there's no bacteria left behind from the poop which lessen chances of having an over abundance of parasites. When you see poop clean poop...you should never allow them to traump through it you are inviting parasites.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
