Glass surfing.. For no reason??

Chien has been glass surfing for errrr three weeks now? I didn't think much of it, but it has been quite a while.

There's nothing in his viv that could've affected this. Whenever I add something, he doesn't care AT ALL. His viv is quite plain because I'm preparing him for brumation so I took out some of his logs and rocks but that's about it, did this last month.

No crickets, no reflection, basking temp is 106, UVB is 6in away (t8),

Could this be hormones or?????

Could be hormones, yes. Sometimes they go through restless phases. My guy is doing this now after coming out of brumation. He wants out all the time and runs around like crazy. I just let him run around out of the tank as much as possible and let him burn off steam.
