Giardia meds question

Sunshine was treated for coccida. I took her fecal sample in to have it tested to see if was rid of it. Her sample tested negative for coccida but now she is positive for Giardia. That explains why she does not want to eatand always has stress marks. I was given metronidizole for this and I wanted to be sure this is the meds of choice for this parasite.

When Puff had it she was given that and Albon..took one in the am and the other in the pm..for 3 days, then stop for 2 weeks, again for 3 days, then stop for three weeks, then the same thing again for a total of 3 treatments.
