getting him to eat crickets

Those of you that feed crickets, I just bought some for Nachtmahr and put them and him into a small rubbermaid container and he ate ONE. Then was way more concerned with trying to headbutt his reflection and get out. So I gave him some more mini mealies ( from www.minimealworms.com, not the hard shelled ones) and he dove right in. I know these mini mealies aren't that good for him, but they are better than nothing. Any tips on how to get him to eat the crickets? If it matters, there were only 20 in the container with him.

Also, he just arrived the 2 days ago from Diamond Den, so I know he is still adjusting.

I wouldn't not put all 20 in at once, I would put a couple in at a time. That amount of hopping bugs might have freaked him out.
