Are the meds for the small amount of worms he's got?
PumpkinJelly":2de2jq72 said:Oh that's good that you caught them before they hatched. Franklin is so darn cute I love the pictures. He's sitting on the table like la dee dah. And then he looks all serious like "Gimmie the news, Doctor" LOL. He's a big boy so the meds might not affect him too badly anyhow.
If you're going to do the "All The Time Harness/Collar" you should make one yourself. Something that's very lightweight and won't bother Franklin once he gets used to it.
You could make a cheap one out of some felt. Felt at the craft store is literally only a couple cents where I live. And you get a decent sized sheet (Approximately an 8 inch by 11 inch piece or something like that) So you can make a few stylish collars for Franklin. Felt isn't the most durable, but it'll last you awhile and it's cheap so you can make probably around two dozen collars for Frank with one piece whenever one gets ruined. Just simply cut the felt off of the bell and attatch the bell to a new strip of felt for him
Felt is really airy and light. I made Fiz's bed out of it so that I could cover him up and he'd get good air flow. It doesn't really catch on their spikes or scales too badly either. Fiz's nails sometimes grip to it when he doesn't want to get out of bed but other than that, it's pretty good. I wouldn't use felt for a harness as it may wear a little more and then eventually start to catch on his spikes.
Because of how cheap it is it really wouldn't hurt your wallet if you bought one sheet of felt
Just an idea!

NeosMom":1l0fc4rt said:Actually, I never came back to this post. Oops! Sorry. I found a crochet pattern for a small dog. Switched from yarn to thread, used a much smaller needle, and cut the pattern in half. In other words, shrunk it down as far as I could. Very cute. She was out of it in less than 5 minutes. So, all that work & she still went naked to the rally.
Looks like it might be great when she's full size.
NeosMom":2ei8wez8 said:ROTFLOL Ummmm... Don't crochet much, huh Randy? You do realize it's like an old lady hobby? Generally speaking, people who crochet and knit don't tend to be reptile people. I'd say more like baking apple cobbler and having an old poodle kinda people. I mean, there are exceptions to every rule - like me! But the best I can really hope for is to find the general concept and make something up myself. The night I tried that, it was about 8:00 and I worked for two hours to get it done. Since then been working and spending all my extra time building the viv.
I promise not to give up. I will draw something up and turn it into a pattern. If it comes out well, I will post it on here so everyone can see what I can do with my sad old lady hobby.
