Foot resistant to medicine? + Twisted Toe.

I took my 3 year old to the vet in April with a swollen leg/ankle and they gave me a shot to give her everyday for a month. Fast forward two months later she has the same issue so I use what is left until I can get until I can get to the vet and get another dosage of the shot. And finally now, the leg/ankle area has swollen up again... is she resistant to the medication being given or is something inside causing it to come back? When I was there the first time the vet tested for gout and cancer and both came back negative so that’s crossed out.

Now to the second thing, the toe doesn’t bother her but you can tell it’s definitely dislocated or twisted what could be done for that?

Hi. What is in the shot? Looks like could be your to me. If that is antibiotic that is doing more harm then good. He needs a blood test to determine if it is gout. You can give him some black cherry juice to help with the swelling.

The shot was in fact an antibiotic, but he gave her a low dosage and he tested for gout when I brought her in with this issue initially. They came back with negative results for gout or cancer.

What about the toe? Should I try and do anything for it? Since that view doesn’t do it justice, I’ll describe it. It looks like there’s a knot directly beneath her nail and it feels like a bone twisted for some reason.

Sorry that your girl is having issues. I really can't see any problem with the foot in those pics. How did the vet test for gout ? There are specific tests. The injections were useless, this vet may not experienced at all. A month's worth of antibiotics can potentially lower the immune system quite a bit by wiping out the good gut flora [ bacteria] with the bad. I would not be going back to that vet, wasted your money and possibly made your dragon worse.

Was she having trouble walking at all before this , and now ? And can you post pics of her set up, including the lights ?
