I thought I had to share this with you. Today after I came home I saw this! Can my beardie be more messy?

I came home yesterday to Scarlet with dookie in her Repti-worms dish and a bunch of Repti-worms happily wriggling through the whole mess. :angry5:

Mine does her business in her pool. I feel like being a smart ass and hang a sign that says "No Peeing in the Pool"

I saw this thread yesterday and thought "ewww I hope Blaze never does that". I just gave him a bowl with 6 roaches in it, went outside to feed the other animals, came back in to find one roach and one giant turd in the bowl. Thanks Blaze. I guess he thought I deserved a tip for the great meal.

That is so funny, all of your posts, I can relate. When my husband was alive he made a ramp in our living room for our beardies to run around on (separately, of course). We found some old toys & put them on each side of the ramp, to prevent beardies hiding underneath. We also put a power sun at the top so they get sunshine when they're out. I have found poops in the dump truck & in the small garbage truck, too. I've found poops underneath the ramp, which is supposed to be impossible. I've found poops on pillows scattered around the living room, behind curtains, but rarely in their tanks. It seems if they don't poop in the bath, which I prefer, they wait until they're let out & then find a place that's hidden & let go  I never know where I'll find the next one!

I've heard of alot of people who's beardies poop in their food bowl :dontknow: you wouldn't think they'd want to  but it happens often, so welcome to the world of odd places for beardies to poop

Ruby does the same thing! Hate it when she does it right after I feed her in the am and has to end up making a whole New salad :( funny little creatures aren't they? Lol

Chief will leave his living room basking spot and go back into his viv to poop, then come back out to bask. His viv is on the floor and it has sliding doors that we leave open for him so he can come and go as he pleases while we are home. Can't believe he understands not to poop on his basking sopt. He's done it many times and we have to remove him from it to clean him and it, and I think he finally figured out it's easier to poop away from where he wants to bask.

And in case people don't know - leopard geckos will poop in the same spot of their tanks every time. Mine poops in a corner way far away from where she eats and sleeps. Pretty cool.

Pretty cool, I knew that about geckos. I have a golden gecko who does the same thing, across his tank away from his food. I also have a dragon, Rubio, who won't poop anywhere but on one spot on the newspaper that is the substrate in his tank. He's right on every time. I leave for work at 10:30a, and one day he pooped after I left. When I got home I had a poop covered beardie, who was not impressed. So he got a nice bath & I told him he had to poop before I left. To my surprise he now always poops before I leave for work, so did he understand what I said? Who knows, but he never misses his spot & it's always before I leave for work, so no more poopy covered dragon when I get home  :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
