Hey guys, I just wanted to start off by saying that I'm new to the forum, but I've been watching it for a while, and it seems like this is the place to go for this sort of thing. I've had my beardie for a bit now, and I'm getting a larger tank for her soon. Recently, however, when leaving her with a trusted individual while on a trip, we were informed that there might be some parasites affecting her.
See, this is my first real pet, and we've never been to a vet. It's just a stool sample test, but because of Covid, I'm not allowed to go back with my beardie. The vets also told me that the sample would be best if put in a bag two hours before leaving, but they have other ways of getting stool samples from my beardie. Is there anyone that can tell me what they mean by that? And what other things I should expect from the visit? Is this to be trusted? It seems like a safe enough place, but I don't like the idea of giving my beardie to someone else without knowing what they plan on doing.
I know this may sound a little dumb to anyone who's been to a vet visit, but I'm terribly nervous. I would really appreciate it if there was anyone who could help me out here.
Thank you!
