Finally Got Ceramic Tile for under the Food and Water

The local lowes didn't have any uncoated slate tile, so i got 16x16 pieces of Ceramic tile and put it under the Food and water side only. Pictures below.

We hadn't realized that the tiles were actually the size I was looking for 16x16 before we measured after he cut one tile on a scorer. I got that tile at 1.00 since it only chopped off two inches. The other two tiles were at the normal price of 1.56.

Enjoy. And everyone does realize that i'm adding more stuff in to take out during cleaning now lol. The repticarpet will still be under the tiles to protect the glass bottom of the enclosure.

That's quite similar to the tile I use. It should work well.

Thanks Coopersdragon. I went as close to the instructions you gave me for tile selection. It doesn't have a lot of texture but you can tell it has a little by touching it with your hand.

I'm pleased with the choice.
