Okay, so I think I have done enough research and my aid money came in today so I will get everything left to get and then my beardie! My final few questions are:
1. For a baby/juvenile beardie, would it be okay to give it two feedings of phoenixworms one day with a salad, then only one insect feeding the next day along with the salad and some of the wet nutrient pink food thing? Then on weekends give it treats like a meal of superworms and a fruit salad instead?
2. A Reptisun 10.0 T5 should be roughly 12" away from the basking spot, correct?
3. Is it okay to not leave a water bowl in the viv, and instead give a soak every other day? It's already pretty humid here in florida, even inside our house so I don't want the cage getting high humidity.
4. Do you think a 50w zoomed basking bulb would be enough to heat up a 4x2x2 birch plywood viv with a mesh top?
5. Would a het hypo, het trans leatherback need anything special in their care such as different temperatures or supplements?
6. And finally, would a young bearded dragon, (roughly 3 months old) be okay in a viv of that size? (4x2x2)
Thank you for everything you guys have contributed to my knowledge about these beautiful creatures. I will add a thread once I finish building my viv and get my baby in the mail! Again, thank you all!
