i put one of my males with my female(she is def. female). she started to footstomp/blackbeard and headbob back at my boy. He attempted to breed and she just bit him back. My boy then started to wiggle his tail and snap at her. I seperated them immediately after he snapped. This was when i put the male in the females enclosure. should i try the opposite?

Im not expert but mating is a very harsh and violet process. If she snapped at him first it could mean she isnt ready or just dosnt like him!

Try putting them in a communal area, where neither will feel the need to protect territory. Have you got everything set up for the eggs?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
