female interraction

alright well i have 2 females in the same cage, and i can tell when they are in a fight and when they make up, its so funny.
they wont really physically fight, they will just ignore eachother, and not eat
but when they make up, my smaller one will get on top of the bigger one and "cuddle" in a way.
then immediately they will start eating.
it is the wierdest thing, they are like humans, i swear!

Bearded dragons are NOT like humans when it comes to companionship! Please don't keep your dragons housed together. The behavior that you are witnessing is not cute, it is very dangerous. They are displaying dominating/submissive behavior. This could result in injuries or death to one of your beardies. My suggestion is to split them asap. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is very serious, and should not be ignored!

Yeah exactly what was said when dragon's are lying on top of each other it's form of domination. If I lay on top of you I would be trying to keep you down.

So yeah they are like humans they say who's boss, but they don't love each other at all. Beardie's do not love each other their goal in life is to continue the survival of their species, they will mate to continue, they will fight to get the chance to mate and they do not become families or companions.

they are not really physically fighting.
when i mean fighting, they will stay on opposite ends of the tank from eachother and ignore eachother.

i must not be sounding right, because other then the rare occasions that they do "fight" they get along like sisters.
they eat together, bask together, sleep together. everything.

generally dominant issues is when the bigger of the two will get on top of the other.
its my smaller one that got on top of the bigger one, and thats the only time ive ever seen it happen.

you would just have to trust me, they get along, id be able to tell if their were dominant issues. hiding a lot, one not eating and the other eating, etc.
i know how to tell, im not dumb.

i just know they dont have them.

you'd have to see them to believe me, in all honesty i think if i seperated them now, they would hate me.
