Feeding

I was juat wondering if anyone could tell me how to feed a beardie. i was thinking that i would put the lights on a timer and have them go on at 7am i normally get up at 8am and then feed him. do i put vegies in first or crickets? how many times a day should they eat and when do i turn the lights off at night?

If your beardie is a baby / juvie they need fed 2-3 times per day. make sure when you feed him in am he has at least an hour to warm up before food and feed him in the pm 1-2 hours before lights out. Put salad in first to try and encourage him to eat it then feed the live foods. Lights need to be on about 12-14 hours per day.
