Feeding Question

So just recently I posted on the ER forum because my beardie has been losing weight and has been sickly. I currently have him on Critical Care formula but I am just wondering if things like scrambled eggs or something else can give him a boost, if there is anything you can think of that would give him a good boost please let me know. And before anyone asks I'll post the list.

How old is your dragon? 6
What is the sex of your dragon? Male
What size enclosure do you have your dragon in? 36 gallon viv
What type substrate do you have on the bottom of your tank? Reptile Carpet
Do you use UVB lights? Yes
If so, Is it a coil, compact, fluorescent tube, or Mercury Vapor bulb? tube
What is the brand name and number of your bulb? Reptiglo 10.0
How old is your UVB bulb? 2 weeks or so
How close can your dragon get to the UVB? around 6"

Have you gotten a vet check and fecal done? I just had a fecal done and it came back completely fine

really, the critical care is much better then eggs. Have you tried any jump start? it has a appetite stimulant in it. You might want to have another fecal done, just because one test comes back negative doesn't mean they are parasite free. Make sure they test for coccidia and giardia too.
Is he eating anything on his own?

When you say he is sickly, what do you mean by that.... how is he acting? Have you bathed him could he be dehydrated?

He's been tired and sluggish, I've been offering him water regularly, the baths really stress him out so I haven't been doing it.

Oh so sad! I hope he perks up for you! I never thought I would get attached to a lizard my husband talked me into getting for my son! I could never imagine touching something like that, but now, I am so attached. I hope he is just going through a phase and in no time witll be back to himself eating and running around in his cage!

Never tried it yet, but have you tried giving him baby food? I heard that beardies like that and if it is good for babies, I am sure it may perk your boy up.

Where do I get jump start? And he eats baby food very enthusiastically but he has never really eaten veggies like he should. I've had him on Zoo Med beardie food mixed with squash baby food. I have tried everything to get him to eat greens and nothing has ever worked. If there is ANYTHING that you can recommend that I try, I'm willing to give it a shot.

When my beardie was sluggish a few months ago I gave him horned worms. He absolutely loved them, and it seemed to give him an appetite again after he tried them.

Ever tried those? They love them!
