We feed Apollo one adult large mouse every 10 days. Most corn owners do the same. It varies, but the consensus is every 10 days. Apollo is an adult male corn snake. Rats are too large for a corn snake. I suggest purchasing a corn snake manual. Corns live up to 15+ years with proper care, so reading a book is advised. I did, and have never felt more able to care for Apollo's needs. My partner and I are actually buying a hatchling soon, so that we can raise the little bundle of joy to adulthood.
Best of luck!
