Hello,

I need some help..please.

We got a bearded that came from Ga. Unfortunately she will only eat Dubia roaches. We have tried crickets, supers, mealworms, and discoid roaches. She is not having any of it.

We havent tried the horn worms yet... (store wont have them in until Tuesday), but I doubt she will eat them.

She does eat her salad, but no other bugs. Problem is.. we live in FL, and cant get Dubias anywhere...

What other options do we have? What else can we try? We are going to try the discoid again on Monday to see if she will eat them finally, but right now I am not hopeful. And at almost $1 each they are expensive to be throwing out because she wont eat them.

I've had beardies before, among other reptiles, but they were raised on crickets so they were used to them. Now with her I am at a loss...

Any help is appreciated..

How long have you had her, and has she eaten since you got her?
How old is she?

If she does take to the discoids they are similar to culture to dubias. I'm surprised she doesn't like those.

Have you tried ordering them online? I live in Texas and no one super close to me sells them so I always order big batches online and that seems to work out pretty well.
