Fandango the jumper!

This is Fandango. He was given to us by a teen boy who wanted a bearded dragon that he could handle. Fandago is a jumper and very skittish. So, we have some stuff to work on with him!! Right now, the biggest dilemma is how to cure his immense tail rot.

My Fred had an injury to his tail that looked similar, but smaller. The vet recommended soaking twice daily in a Betadine solution, and applying silver sulphodine cream when dry. The affected part fell off without complication. I don't know if the cream is available anywhere other than the vet. You also have to watch that the infection is not moving up the tail.
