so, i thought i'd go ahead and start up an ongoing thread for falkor. if you're interested in reading about his beginnings and the mini adventure i've gone through trying to right the wrongs of the pet store, check out my introduction thread here - viewtopic.php?f=44&t=131036&start=0. either way, i'm going to go ahead and repost the pictures from that thread and continue to add to them :)

the day i brought him home along with his original setup:

his current setup (the middle is a little dirty from calcium dust - time to clean the carpet)

almost looks like it could have been take outside - well, except for that black cord ;-)

"i'm sure i could reach that plateau...doesn't look that far..."

i LOVE how this shot turned out:

here's a funny shot i took the other night of him sleeping. he normally sleeps up on his branch, but on this particular night, he didn't quite make it before falling asleep :-D

hunting crickets:

hanging out on my hand while shedding his legs:

trying to surf the internet - sorry buddy, you just don't weigh enough to press down the keys:

sorry i'm a little late in posting an update this week, but here it is. falkor gained about 19 grams this week - she's now up to 260 grams and 16.75" long. nothing super exciting happened this past week. she did get to try her first dubia and she LOVED it. i was a little afraid that she would end up not wanting crickets after getting the roach, but she's still been gobbling them down like crazy as well. so that was a relief. the dubia colony is starting to build up, but it's not ready to feed fully out of yet, so i'm going to start gradually introducing the roaches in - just a few each week for now.

weekly weigh-in - as you can see, she's starting to get a little cramped in the little tupperware bowl i was using to weigh her:

so, i got out a bigger bowl to start using from now on:

a great sexy-leg shot:

these next few show the odd sleeping position of the week. she was partly on her hammock and partly on her branch. in the third picture, you can see how much her belly was spilling over. she's just so silly sometimes.

Great shots Aaron! I particularly like the new bowl shot. It's like she's hanging there going "About time!" :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
