I got 10 Dubai roaches from the local pet store just to try with my two babies. Well in the bunch there were only 4 small enough to give to my brats so i gave them two each. Needless to say they both loved them, however, now Kengo is being a brat and refuses to eat anything else. I gave her crickets for her breakfast this morning and she just looked at me like i was an *****. Yoshi is a pig and will eat anything that looks like it might move but Kengo refused the crickets and PWs as well as ignored her greens today. Anyone got any ideas to break her little tantrum.

All of this "bratty" behavior after two little dubias? WOW....maybe she is a teenager. Ha Ha...

I would suggest to continue offering crickets, greens and veggies. Once she gets hungry enough, she will eat. Silly dragon....

Local pet store selling Dubia? Cool! Where do you live? Do you mind telling me how much they charged you for 10?

I live in Lincoln Ne. and they sell them for .35 each so its no big deal to buy a few but you wouldn't want to buy a lot of them.

i has the same exact problem and theres one way of fixing it! sure ull get the stink eye from your dragon but offer food whatever it is criz, dubias, greens whatever give them 15-20 mintues max then take them out and place them in near where they can clearly see them "inside like a little chinesse soup container and wait till their next feeding time comes around. remember to leave greens in there so if will not have it at all they will have to eat green and say "hey those whatever your feeder is look sooo good" it may take a couple of days but u can sway them. also aaronpauling is having a amazing sale on dubias ive started a colony myself now and will never look back!

i put them inside a clear critter keeper inside her viv so she can see them at all times. she is starting to show a little interest but she hasn't eaten in a day and a half. I think she will breaks soon.
