Excess superworms?

So even though I*admits*have forgotten about my poor superworms due to my dragons brumating, and not eating their feeders, I had two bins of supers before, one I was able to clean out and separate the beetles/worms/aliens and morphing worms into their appropriate spots, clean my beetle's cage and give them water(sorry guys! DX) and give my worms left a BUNCHA carrots, I noticed that in my bin of worms that I raised from eggs, I still have a BUNCH that I'm not doing anything with and the dragons aren't eating. And I would kinda like to add crix back in their diet once I start breeding crested geckos hopefully this coming breeding season(if not I can wait. DX), but is there someway I could maybe sell off some of worms?
Where/how might I do that?


I feel really bad I've forgotten them, but I paid them enough attention today. XD Luckily there weren't.....THAT many casualties.... :lol:

check with your local pet stores or try craigslist. If you have large quantities, you can use ebay.

yep, feeder insects are fine to ebay. I've gotten supers from there before.

Mom seemed up to the idea of doing that.
But, how would you really ship them, like, since the nights are really cold here, would I have to put a heater pack in with them? I normally, when I buy them, get them in a canvas bag that comes in a box, no ventilation, and the canvas bag has newspaper in them,

I think I'll count my supers later and at some point might check to see if my petstores would buy some from me.

You think that costco might have bulk styrofoam containers that the bugs usually come in?

Any extra money I can make will be awesome so I can put it towards my crested gecko breeding hobby I hope to start in spring.(depends on the weight of female I get) but I rather someone who can use the worms have than then me, who's beardies aren't interested in food this time of year.

Check around for a restaurant supply store, you will be able to find all kinds of cups there. They probably won't have the Styrofoam kind but they will have deli cups.
I have no idea how to ship in the cold. I know supers die really easy from cold so I would suggest trying to sell local first. Otherwise I guess you would need a insulated box with a heat pack.

So I've finished counting pretty much and I counted about 735, but i probably have 750-800....
Doesn't /seem/ like much, but it is a lot for two dragons that aren't eating due to winter. Dad said we should probably try to craigslist them

Oh and I still have about 25-35 +/- beetles that are producing worms still and three aliens I think...

What I like to do when I end up with extra bugs is go the my local (family ran) pet store and trade some in for other supplies I need. In the last 6 months I have traded enough roaches and super worms to get a few dozen crickets, a new basking bulb and a few feeding dishes. Just talk to who ever is in charge of stocking the reptile section.
