I am changing my bearded dragons food staple to silkworms. I would like to breed and keep my own, but I know completely nothing about keeping silkworms. If you guys have any info or tips please let me know, THANKS!
I think it should get you started. I can tell you from experience breeding bugs is an uncertain science. Best thing you can do is just dive in and do your best!
I havent tried raising silkworms yet. I have a superworm colony and a dubia roach colony. I've had issues along the way but I think we got it down now. I am going to try Hornworms next simply because I think they would be fun to raise
The first time we tried we didn't keep them in darkness and they never pupated, just died. Now we have a couple hundred beetles so we are doing well. They are laying eggs now so we expect to have a large number of baby supers in a few months

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
