anyone take their beardie to the vet and get an enima?? if so what happened? expensive? etc? i took my guy to the vet thursday.. and doc took an xray and said he was constipated.. doctor said to give baths and that if a substantial poop doesnt happen he'll have to get an enima.. i've been feeding him baby food with a few drops of olive oil in : squash, applesauce, prune, sweet potatoe 2-3 times a day, and giving him constant baths.. he pooped friday morning a decent amount, and then this morning barely anything... he hasn't touched crix, just his veg occasionally of collard green, endive chickory, and turnip greens.. i went out and bought butterworms the other day, and he only ate about 3.. i went out tonight and got waxworms and plan on trying that tomorrow.. i really dont wanna take him back to the vet, and want him to poop the poo of his life!
hes on tile, he has a reptisun 10.0 uvb flouro tube 24" long. 100 watt zoo med reptisun basking bulb which is about 4-5 inches away from his sandblasted grapevine, which doesnt get to hot to the touch, about 105-110 with my temp gun, and then another 4 inches beneath that is his basking platform which is offset a lil from the branch..
during the morning's after i give him the baby food and baths, he's really active, going back and forth, doing alot of head bobbing, and pacing the tank.. but during afternoon he just kinda goes to his corner and lays there.
anyone with prior experience have any suggestions??
