i was just wondering if any one has problems with there homemade cages i made a 3 stack myself about 6 months ago there 4x2x2 and i have noticed that the heat from the very first one is making my 2nd one hotter and so on around 20 degrees diffrence from 1 to 2 does any one else have this problem? if so what did u do to fix it?
i was thinking about putting 2 computer fans on the basking side for the 2nd and 3rd lvl and put them on a timmer so they turn on for 15 min and turn off for 30 i am not sure if this would really help much whats ur guys/girls take on this?
the reason the heat is making the second one hotter is because the lights are all on the same side all the way up the condo so the heat from the light is going through 2 pieces of wood a 1 laayer of tile and coming threw that way and its making the ground warm not hot but its enough to raise my temps to 118 in the second cage originally i had the lights off set so the middle one was on the opposite side but this was a problem too as is raised the temps higher through out the hole cage
any questions i would be more than happy to answer
