Hello out there.
my beardie is still not eating crickets,(its been about 2 to 3 months now) ,and if he does its maybe 3 or 4 every few days, if any. I was giving him super worms everyday for a few weeks because it was the only thing he was eating along with a few bites of greens, but then someone told me that he maybe was addicted to the supers so i stopped, and its been a couple weeks now and he still refuses to eat his crickets. is there another type of food i can try thats not addicting and not a treat?? he looks like he's losing weight and I'm concerned. he's won't eat his squash or any types of fruit either. ??
I guess he was going through what someone told me was "Spring Fever" the whole feb through march months, going crazy in his tank, bobbing his head everywhere and lots n lots of glass dancing, and running around, not eating, and going under his hide away log very very early. I guess because its mating season?? well, He's calmed down a little now, and stays awake till his lights go out, no stress marks, still has energy, seems happy, we take him out everyday and he gets lots of exercise but he's still not eating crickets. :? anyone have any suggestions?? thank you in advance!
