my beardie started laying eggs so far 8 have come out over 3 days....i was not prepared but i tried to rig something up so i was tosing them in a Tupperware bowl with wet sand and a heat lamp i know this clutch will proboby die but i wanna know what to get ready for the next time she decides to lay eggs ....i notice after a day the eggs start to get indents and shrivel so on top of wat i need to get ready hes some other questions i keep getting mixed stories on =]
how do i handle them and transfer them?
pink side up?
what do the indents and shriveling mean ?
the male i have tends to dry hump her back! 0.0 sometimes he grabs on to her by the neck with his mouth but his body and genitals are no were near her are the eggs getting inseminated? is there a way to tell by looking at the egg?
im told i will need a incubator or thay will die!.......well thay dont have them in nature how true is this and why is such high humidity and heat needed constantly? Australian deserts during a beardies mating season can drop to 70* at night time! do thay lay near river beds for such high humidity?
