Our two beardies had eggs, this is her third time and we were unprepared the first few times and even still now weren't expecting it so soon. My boyfriend didn't tell me she was pregnant until two days before she popped so I didn't have time to get her soil to lay the eggs, so she had them in the tank. No biggie, I found them about 30 minutes later. All white, round, plump with visable embroys 25 total. But it was about 10 at night so I didn't have anything for them, I was told I could put them in water so I did that for overnight until I could get to the store. Heres the problems:
Had them in water.... They were at the correct temperature the entire night but now they smell kinda funny. I dont know if its just because they were in water the over night or that the water killed them?
They were moved around quite a bit, even in the tank when she was laying them. Now there in the soil in their incubator and I moved them as little as possible. They're at the right temp (82) with plenty of humidity and I'm watching them like a hawk.
Should I wait it out to see if they're okay, dry up a little bit and keep up the healthy shape and color?
