Eating various plants and grass outside?

Have my beardies out today for some sun and they insist on eating the grass and plants. They dislike greens yet they have no problem eating plants I am of course stopping them. Would adding edible plants to their enclosure encourage them to eat greens etc?

Note: My Amber has her days and will eat all the greens in her enclosure but Chubbs not so much

For the green try add bee pollen mines wouldn’t eat green until I added it. I can give you the link for the one I use if you want it. But my oldest also love eating the things that are outside as well like dandelions, and clovers

Sadly I tried uncrushed bee pollen and bee pollen powder both a no go 😅. I was thinking that I mist their greens and my Amber has been eating them and lost 10 grams!!!!. I was thinking if it was possible to mix bee pollen with water and mist their greens as usual. I tried many things to put on their greens and if I put powder they refuse to eat them

we use the granules for bee pollen. in the beginning we misted the salads again after adding them so they would stick to the leaves good. now he loves it. like yours, he refuses to eat anything with powder on it. i'm not sure about adding to water before misting, but i suppose it's worth trying.

You might try not making a salad, instead offer one green at a time and see if there is something they like. Then you can offer that and maybe sneak in small quantities of the other stuff to try to mix it up

The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
