Its safe for him to eat it.It is however generally sign that he is low in calcium. What type of vitamins are you giving and how often?

Hm Ive been giving him calcium 5x a week one feeding per day and vitamins 2x a week one feeding per day. The calcium is Flukers with D3, the vitamins are Zoo Med Reptivite with D3. I got him two weeks ago from the pet store and thats been what ive been giving him, prob better than the pet store was so itll only get better

Sounds about right in regards to the doasge.I personally prefer the repcal calcium but the flukers should do the job. What type of UVB are you using? If you dont have a good UVB bulb he will have difficulty synthesizing D3 therefore it wont even matter how much calcium you give he would still be deficient especially if using coil/compact bulbs or any of the dessert series bulbs.Truthfully the only decent fluorescent is the LINEAR ReptiSUN 10.0 or the other option is an MVB like the Trex Active heat or Megaray.Which are you using?

Things look good.Only thing I can see is that he seems to be quite far from the UVB when basking.Ideally you want him to be able to get within 6-8inches of the bulb other then that it all looks great.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
