As common amongst the majority of bearded dragons, mine shows no interest in live food unless it is really active. I feed him super worms and have a dish deep enough to put a bunch in there with a ledge so they cannot crawl out. Since there are so many places for them to squirm away and hide letting them loose inside of his main tank outside of a dish is not a viable option. They will simply hide until they die. My question is will my dragon eventually recognize the dish that he eats out of and go and look inside of it to see them moving around? Because unless he actually goes and looks inside of it, he cannot see in it. I put him right in front of it every time we fill it up with worms and place it in the same part of the tank. Please let me know if there's something I should do or just give him time to learn.
